Experts from the Torch Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology Conduct Research in Taihe

on february 27, an daochang, secretary-general of the china technology entrepreneurship association, jin xueqi, director of the base department of the torch center of the ministry of science and technology, and other officials visited taihe to investigate the development of the biomedical industry base. they were accompanied by liu muyu, deputy secretary of the taihe county party committee and county mayor, qi anmin, director of the county people’s congress standing committee, and relevant departmental heads.

the research team first visited enterprises in taihe county, including huayuan pharmaceutical, futai hair accessories, pacific netting, beck pharmaceutical, yuekang biotech, baishansheng pharmaceutical, dexinjia biomedical, and the zhongke base, to gain a practical understanding of the industrial park, related enterprises, and the development status of supporting platforms.

subsequently, a symposium on the development of taihe’s specialized biomedical industrial park was held in meeting room 3 of the county conference center. wang bin, member of the county party committee standing committee and deputy county mayor, introduced the situation of the fuyang (taihe) modern pharmaceutical industry agglomeration and development base. representatives from enterprises such as anhui sihuan kebao, yuekang kaiyue pharmaceutical, baishansheng pharmaceutical, and dexinjia biomedical spoke about their production operations, technological r&d, project applications, industry-university-research collaborations, as well as existing challenges and difficulties. heads of departments including the county science and technology bureau, development and reform commission, and economic development zone introduced relevant policies and measures supporting the biomedical industry.

the research team fully affirmed the development of taihe’s biomedical industry and provided guidance on issues raised by the departments and enterprises.

at the symposium, liu muyu, deputy secretary of the county party committee and county mayor, elaborated on the development history of taihe’s biomedical industry, government promotion measures, and future plans. he expressed hope that the experts in the research team would leverage their strengths to help taihe build platforms and provide more technological support and services for taihe and its enterprises.
